Hi!  My name is Ken.  My wife Lori and I started this site after the birth of our 4th child Ellie.  It had been 8 years since we had to worry about bottles, diapers, car seats, onesies and formula. ….

We quickly realized that there was a lot of crap that we needed to buy. We also realized that even though we researched many of the items we purchased, we were not satisfied with the products.  We found that items that received great reviews, but were at the top end of our budget, were just not worth it.

We made many purchases based on price and many based on brand name status.  We found that it didn’t matter.  Regardless of the price, some items were great crap and many were just CRAP!

We quickly realized that name brand, high end does not mean great or even good crap.  Sometimes, cheap, but practical wins.

Lori and I decided we wanted to help other people avoid falling into the same ordeal we did.  We wanted to help them sift through the products on the market, allowing for informed decisions, so they can buy some great crap, rather than just crap!!

We also wanted to have a place where people could get information on the latest recalls on products they may have already bought.

Thus, Crap4MyKid.com was born.
